This unique metal lamppost style indoor/outdoor floor clock has a special feature: identical dials on the front and back. The base, post and head feature a powder-coated, Satin Black finish for exterior use. Ornate details on the crown and beneath the dial add a nostalgic tone to the street lamp design. This water-resistant metal clock is suitable for most weather environments, and may be permanently mounted to a solid surface. The base includes an optional platform that allows the clock to be displayed indoors. The white dials offer black Roman numerals and hands, with a flat glass crystal, which is tempered to reduce the chance of breaking. LED lamps use photo sensors to automatically illuminate the dials at dusk and turn off at dawn. Solar cells located near the top of the clock power the rechargeable batteries. Comes with switch to turn this option off. Quartz, battery operated movements. A winding key is provided so that time can be easily set from the outside of the clock. Requires four AA-sized batteries required (not included). Some assembly required. Quartz, battery operated movement.
